Saweetie Together With PrettyLittleThing Launch A Second Collection To Support The BLM Movement
Online retailer PrettyLittleThing in collaboration with rapper Saweetie last week, released its second collection with videos highlighting police brutality towards Blacks.
This news has taken over our social media feeds and led many brands to release new products while acknowledging the injustice the Black community faces.
Joining the movement, PrettyLittleThing has pledged to donate 100 percent of the profits from its campaign with Saweetie to Black Lives Matter.
Saweetie in an exclusive Instagram live session last week said, “Working with PLT has been a dream. They are making my dreams come true. My last collection had so many pieces but with this collection, it only has 18 to 20 pieces.”
Her first collection with the brand debuted at NYFW in September 2019. embracing the new normal, PLT is introducing its first shot-straight-from-home campaign. The collection showcases Saweetie’s cool-girl aesthetic, which is heavily influenced by the nineties with a mod 2020 twist.
