The funny thing is that these crazy items tend to spread faster than ever because lots of people tend to use that as a medium to ease of some stress.
For sometime now or better still for this year, 2020 there has been a consistent occurrence in Ghana where names or phrases are used to identify people and that easily goes viral. Here are a list of the most popular and interesting phrases trending in Ghana so far.

Due to this reason, he has been noted for the phrase “fellow Ghanaians”. This phrase has become soo popular such that some people have it as their nickname whiles others have it as a call and respond phrase amongst their peers. This phrase from the look of things might not end anytime soon.

To the very recent one, wele, sebe, kontomire, so this phrase has been there since the 90’s however it was then rekindled and brought back to the system by the latest VGMA artist of the year, Kuami Eugene. So the Award-winning artiste, Kuami Eugene has released his recent song, “Open gate” which contains these words in his song.
Ghanaians woke up to this word on the lips of some particular people who reside in the Ashanti Region, Kumasi to be precise. Now the name is everywhere and the motive behind this name is that the people behind these names now want to be known as kumericans. The entire Oseikrom is known as the United States of Kumerica. Their motto is “kumerica to the world, they can’t war with us.” The kumerica word has been endorsed by some famous celebrities like Okyeame Kwame, KOD, and Reggie Rockstone.
As of this matter, it is not today however let me just brief you on it. This phrase came about during the banter between Tracy Boakye and Mzbel. These two kept throwing shades and innuendos at each other over a certain man who is dating two of them at the same time. Some people however claim that the Ex-president of the Republic Of Ghana, Dr. Dramani Mahama is the one behind the name. Tracy Boakye took to social media to refer to the mysterious man as “Papa No” and has since been the funniest phrase on the lips of Ghanaians.
