It was not a surprise knowing that these three brands are launched their collections despite the pandemic all. Here are the three Nigerian brands with the collections below:
The lookbook for DNA by Iconic Invanity‘s Spring/Summer 2020 collection which was launched at an exclusive presentation at GTBank Fashion Weekend 2019, was inspired by the essence of Lagos city.s nothing short of spectacular.

“Each piece in this collection is much more than just a functional item of clothing; it reflects how this Lagos community, built up of individuals and families is woven together by creativity, colour, and ambition while maintaining a distinctive local identity. This “Lagos” identity, is represented in our music, art, and clothing continues to inspire the imagination, and fascinate the rest of the continent, and even the world.
For those of us who call Lagos home, the classic iconic beading in this collection captivates the wearer into a familiar yet exciting feeling. The boldness, creativity, and sparkle that is second nature to the Lagosian woman, is in our DNA. This collection is bold. This collection is powerful. This collection is us.
Anybody who has spent time in Lagos will know how animated and high-spirited the city is. The interconnectedness creates a rhythm of interaction that is revealed in each DNA by Iconic Invanity piece. The detail, creativity, and light dance together as they are brought to life by those who make the Iconic garments, and by those iconic people who wear them.”

The house also plans to grow its street brands distribution through directly-operated retail stores and directly-operated e-commerce sites.
Jants Collections releases its Spring Summer Collection titled “THE COOLANT COLLECTION”and was inspired by the African “Jungle”.
In a statement from the Creative Director of the brand, Joel Ugo Enyinnaya he describes his inspiration behind the Coolant Collection:
”While growing up as a young child assisting my mother when she is stitching I found a great passion for design so during the global pandemic that struck the globe, I started to reflect during the lockdown when staying at home about my childhood on whenever I go to the farm to hunt there were three birds called OVU, AHIA and OKWA in my native language. These three birds were my favorite so I carefully searched for a fabric that depicted the OVU, AHIA, and OKWA bird description which unfortunately I couldn’t catch as a young man and had to pay homage to in my latest piece.
Looking at the collection you will love the fluidity that comes with the Coolant Collection which can be worn by anyone who understands what luxury contemporary African fashion entails which is fully embodied in this collection.
