Enough Of The Lazy Mornings. Make Your Morning Productive
There are times we wake up from bed in the morning and all we do is to lazy around the whole house till midday. The interesting thing about this is, we are soo conscious of how packed our day is but we just don’t do anything about it.
There are lots of factors that ball down to having an unproductive morning. Some of these factors are, lack of exercises, lack of meditation, lack of planning, anxiety, and many others.
Being productive in the morning is not solely based on the time you sleep or wake up because we all have different schedules. How much time you have in the mornings is far less important than how we spend the time we do have?
One would ask, is there anything we can do first thing in the morning- before the workday even officially starts, to become more productive? This article will take you through some ways you can be productive in the morning.
Plan your morning the night before
Sometimes we end up going to bed without a plan for the next day for several reasons but planning your day and even have an idea of what to do the next day gets you active.
If you know you have to report to work very early in the morning, then I suggest you decide on and lay out your clothes for the following day the evening before going to bed.
Take 10 or 15 minutes off your time in the evening to make as many decisions as possible and get things organized, you’ll make your mornings far smoother. Make your breakfast and lunch the night before and have it ready to grab in the fridge, however, if you want your breakfast done in the morning you could wake up to do it quickly right after you are done dressing up for work. Gather all your stuff, you need for the day the evening before.
Once you this do this, you avoid wasting time and making decisions first thing in the morning. Did you know making decisions in the morning can lead to fatigue and frustration before you even walk out the door?
Have a Good night sleep
We are different people, that’s for sure. Someone can just have a poor night’s sleep and still be productive in the morning but others would find it extremely hard to be productive. Having a poor sleep can cause low energy, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, irritability, and poor motivation, especially when you consistently have a poor sleep.
So having, a good sleep makes everything better, it makes you productive for the day.
Shower immediately after exercise
After getting out of bed, make it a point to meditate and exercise then the next thing to do, is to quickly shower. Just go into the bathhouse and take a cool shower, this helps relax your mind making you a productive for the rest of the day. Shower, brush your teeth, comb your hair and get dressed.
Start the day with the right mindset
Know what you want to do and then be in control of your day. Make it a point to give yourself a target for the day and try and complete it. Believe in yourself that you can make it believe in your own success. So start your day with an expectation that what you do matters will give you the best chance of getting off to a productive start.
If you’d be going to work or doing your own business at home, set a time for when the workday will start, and then stick to it. Don’t waste time lazying about and pushing your workday any longer than you have to.
